A site located beneath Lan Zhu Shan in Shaoxing, it is the place where the Eastern Jin calligrapher Wang Xizi and literary scholars gathered, renowned for its “Curve Water Flowing Banquet” poetic scene. Here, the mountains and rivers are clear and quiet, the curve of the water surrounds the pavilion, bamboo forests are shaded, and it is often called “the best scenery in Jianghu.” The scenic area is full of calligraphy relics, with the “Lanting Collection Order” genuine copy being the most shocking, and the stele forest is full of calligraphy copies by famous scholars of all dynasties. The fragrance of ink still lingers.
