Featuring interactive exhibits and the fusion of aerospace technology with Fujian's intangible cultural heritage, particularly the unique combination of space technology and traditional shadow puppet theatre within the museum. The museum, themed “Technology Empowering Intangible Cultural Heritage, Innovating the Transmission of Civilization,” offers a deep integration of space technology and Fujian culture. The museum features a “Space Classroom” immersive experience area where holographic projections recreate the launch scenes of the Shenzhou spacecraft, allowing visitors to operate simulated cabins to complete space docking experiments. In the intangible heritage workshop, Fujian shadow puppet artists are using 3D printing technology to replicate traditional wooden puppets, while the rhythms of eight-tone drums and gongs intertwine with electronic sound effects, creating a dialogue across time. A specially designed “Shen Si [Ming Dynasty Official]” maritime theme exhibition area, using digital sand tables to recreate the prosperous scenes of Zhangzhou’s Yuegang Port, with Ming Dynasty merchant ship models and VR nautical experience devices bringing history back to life.
