China’s only silk-themed specialized museum, showcasing the millennium-old craftsmanship of silkworm and silk production through realistic recreations and immersive experiences. The museum’s core exhibition areas are divided into “Forest Awakening,” “Silk Routes,” and “Splendid Chapters,” featuring unearthed Han Dynasty silk fragments, Tang Dynasty loom models, and Ming Dynasty glazed silk masterpieces. A particularly noteworthy area is the “Silk Road Cultural Corridor,” which uses light and shadow technology to recreate the ancient Silk Road camel track, demonstrating how Lake Zhou silk was spread to the West with merchant caravans, becoming a link between Eastern and Western civilizations.
