Púchéng Tàlíng is located in Pucheng County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, it is the royal tomb of Li Heng (Tang Sòngzōng), the third son of Emperor Xuanzong Li Longji, and is regarded as the last witness of the Tang Dynasty’s imperial power. The cemetery is built on the mountainside, with stone figures of groups of people, camels, lions, and horses, all vividly alive, as if frozen in time. The entrance to the underground palace features a group of buildings imitating the Tang Dynasty style, with blue bricks and gray tiles outlining the royal atmosphere of a thousand years. The exquisite murals inside the underground palace are painted with ochre and cinnabar, depicting scenes of the prosperous Tang Dynasty, including hunting, military parades, and Buddhist stories. These images have solidified the prosperity and faith of the Tang Dynasty into an eternal time capsule.
