Nan Du Jiang
Nan Du Jiang is Hainan Island’s longest river, originating from Qionghai District in Haikou City, winding through Chengmai and Lingao before flowing into the South China Sea. The emerald green waters are crystal clear, shaded by lush trees along the banks, creating a natural painting of “clear water, white sand, monkeys singing on both sides of the trees.” Numerous ecological wetlands and forest parks are located along the riverbanks, making it a rare “lung” for Haikou City, providing citizens with a natural oxygen haven and a leisure destination.
