Fenghcheng He
Fenghcheng He winds through the city, like a jade belt linking Taizhou’s thousand-year cultural vein. This waterway, 13.5 kilometers long, has been a vital north-south transportation route since ancient times, with eighteen ancient bridges scattered along it, including Baizi Bridge and Nan Ying Bridge, seven of which are well-preserved, with moss-covered arches telling tales of six hundred years of wind and rain. At night, the ancient architecture groups on both sides are lit with warm yellow lights, reflecting in the ripples, forming a flowing starry river, harmonizing with the “Fenghcheng Night Docking” light show, as if traveling back to the misty Jiangnan of Song Dynasty poetry.
