Shenyang Tao Li Yuan — China Travel

Shenyang Tao Li Yuan is China’s largest horticultural expo garden, integrating flower exhibition, ancient tree preservation, and humanistic landscape. Featuring a sea of peony flowers and century-old trees, it tells the legendary story of flowers and trees in Northeast China. The park covers a vast area with distinct scenery in each season, spring to admire peonies, autumn to view red leaves, winter to admire plum blossoms, and the peony garden is the most stunning, with tens of thousands of peony plants blooming in unison, like clouds and like mist, with a variety of colors and over one hundred varieties, it is the crown of peonies in the north. Inside the park, the group of century-old ancient trees are well preserved, among them a thousand-year-old toon tree has a trunk that is twisted and knotted, with lush branches and leaves, witnessing the vicissitudes of Northeast China.
