Liuzhou Museum
The Liuzhou Museum is like a time tunnel, narrating Liuzhou’s eight-thousand-year-old civilization. The museum utilizes the “Liujiang Civilization” as its main thread, constructing a complete historical coordinate system through “Prehistoric Archaeological Sites,” “Ethnic Minority Customs,” and “Industrial Scroll” themed exhibition halls. In the prehistoric archaeological zone, fossil remains from 50,000 years ago and exquisite ground stone tools witness Liuzhou’s position as the cradle of civilization in northern Guangxi. The ethnic minority customs zone showcases the production and life scenes of Zhuang, Yao, and Miao ethnic groups through objects such as Zhuang brocade looms, copper drum patterns, and the Sanmu San Yue Gushui (Three Months Three Festivals Singing Fair), with the “Pangu Opening Heaven” copper drum pattern being a treasure of ethnic art.
