Qiónghuā Guānsàngdì
Yangzhou’s Qiónghuā Scenic Area is renowned for its thousand-year-old Qiónghuā trees that bloom in early spring, earning it the reputation of “The First Town of Qiónghuā.” The area features Qiónghuā trees dating back over a thousand years, and during the Qingming Festival (early March), their white, snow-like blossoms burst forth in layers, creating a misty, poetic atmosphere along the ancient Grand Canal. The Shouzixi (Slim West Lake) area is the core viewing zone, with hundreds of Qiónghuā trees blooming along the water’s edge, their petals translucent like jade, fluttering down in the breeze like a silver river. The area also includes a Qiónghuā Culture Corridor, showcasing the trees’ beauty through inscribed poems and restored ancient paintings.
