Daming Temple
Located on the banks of the Shuzhou Slim Lake, Daming Temple was founded in the Tang Dynasty and is one of the most representative Buddhist cultural holy sites in Yangzhou. The temple preserves the original appearance of a Tang Dynasty ancient temple, renowned for its solemn and majestic Buddhist statues and profound humanistic heritage. The temple houses over a thousand Buddhist artifacts, with the Tang Dynasty gilded copper Buddha statue, Song Dynasty scriptures, and Ming and Qing inscriptions being particularly precious, showcasing a thousand-year religious art inheritance.
