White Cloud Mountain stretches across Guangzhou’s Baiyun District, is a National 5A-Level Scenic Area, the first peak of Lingnan, renowned for its rugged peaks and cloud seas. Climbing to Mount Moxiling to overlook, the cloud waves surge like the sea, mountains hidden among the mist, like a fairyland. Ancient temples and natural landscapes reflect each other, Ren Temple’s eaves and corners are fragrant; Huang Po Cave Ancient Road paved with green stone, vines entwined, the sides of the path are dazzling wildflowers and exotic grasses, especially the wild cherry blossom valley’s cherry blossom forest is the most stunning, in spring, falling blossoms are as white as snow. At the mountain waist, the White Cloud Xianguan was once a Taoist holy land, stone carvings are everywhere on the rocks, Su Shi inscribed “White Cloud Cave” four characters, Wen Tianxiang also left poems here, witnessing the praise of writers and artists for the mountains and rivers.
