Yíngjiāng Sì
Yíngjiāng Sì is located in Anqing City, Anhui Province, it is a very influential ancient temple in the south of the Yangtze River. Built in 977 AD, it has stood for over a thousand years. The temple complex is built on the mountainside and beside the river, with soaring eaves and intricate carvings. The Grand Hall of the Sakyamuni Buddha is the most magnificent part of the temple, with a golden and opulent roof and a unique eight-cornered pyramidal roof pointing to the sky. Inside, the lifelike statue of the Thousand-Hand Thousand-Eye Guanyin inspires awe. Before the Hall of the Heavenly Kings, the stone lions are imposing. The “Great Collection of Master Han Shan” is preserved in the Treasure Hall.
