Located in the coastal city of Weihai, the Weihai Museum, themed “Marine Civilization and Meiji Remembrance,” utilizes over 2000 artifacts to construct a dialogue across a thousand years. The exhibition hall employs an immersive design, allowing visitors to touch replica models of Meiji-era warships, listen to the echoes of coastal defense bells, and experience the vicissitudes of “Weihai Defense” as a crucial East Asian sea defense bastion.
