Zhou Enlai & Deng Yingao Memorial Hall
Located within the Water Park in Tianjin, this memorial hall features a solemn and respectful architectural complex resembling a traditional residence, seamlessly blending revolutionary artifacts with garden landscapes. The hall houses over 2000 historical artifacts, including manuscripts, letters, and clothing, vividly recreating the tumultuous revolutionary years of Zhou Enlai, First Premier of the People's Republic of China, and Deng Yingao, a pioneer of the Chinese Women's Movement. The exhibition utilizes holographic projection and scene reconstruction technology to showcase their heroic deeds during key historical moments such as the Wushen Incident, the Long March, and the Sino-Japanese War, with the manuscripts and physical exhibits from Zhou Enlai’s negotiations in Chongqing being particularly impactful. The core area includes a biographical exhibition hall, a museum hall, and a memorial square, with Zhou Enlai’s former residence faithfully replicated, evoking a poignant atmosphere with its wooden furniture and faded letters. The exhibition hall dedicated to Deng Yingao’s revolutionary activities utilizes multimedia to display her leadership of the women’s movement during its most vibrant years. The central Han white jade statue on the memorial square is lifelike, symbolizing the enduring spirit of the two revolutionaries working together. A special exhibition titled "National Sentiment" explores the revolutionary dedication of Zhou Enlai and Deng Yingao through their letters to family members and Deng Yingao’s late-life manuscripts, revealing the revolutionary spirit of "devotion to the end."
