The Tangshan Industrial Museum is based on the Kaiyuan Coal Mine, through immersive scenes and exhibits, vividly interpreting the development trajectory of China’s modern industry. The building architecture integrates industrial style with modern aesthetics. The main exhibition area uses a 1:1 replicated mine shaft as the axis, and traversing it allows you to touch the mottled coal walls, listen to the steam locomotive whistles, and feel the working scenes of miners a century ago. The outdoor exhibition area features the largest collection of steam locomotive models in Asia, with the precise interlocking of cast iron gears and copper pistons witnessing the glorious years of “China’s Coal Industrial Cradle.”
