Tanghe Ecological Park is located in the downtown area of Nanyang, a city green lung combining natural scenery and ecological leisure. The winding Tang River flows through it like a silver snake, with lush greenery on both sides, with a forest coverage rate exceeding 70%, forming a unique “water green interdependent” landscape. The park is linked by a waterfront trail, connecting wetland, forest areas, and scenic overlooks, with cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage in fall, offering scenery in all four seasons. The core scenic area includes the Tang River Ecological Wetland, which is an important stopover for migratory birds, with water birds gathering and reeds swaying; the Forest Oxygen Zone is dominated by native vegetation, with ancient trees towering, and the negative oxygen ion concentration reaches several thousand per cubic centimeter. The waterfront trail, built along the river, uses permeable materials, allowing visitors to observe the river ecosystem up close, and occasionally encounter fish jumping and otters playing.
