Shibo Pan is renowned for its rugged stone steps at the peak of Mount Tai, approximately 1600 meters long with a vertical drop of over 400 meters, forming an “S” shape as it ascends. Its core feature is the name “Shibo Pan,” which is actually a triple staircase: from Tianwai Village to Zhongtianmen is the first section, from Zhongtianmen to Nantianmen is the second section, and from Nantianmen to Yuhuangding is the third section, each characterized by steepness, with the second section, “Guimen Guan,” being the most perilous. The steps are like being carved with a knife and axe, requiring careful breathing at every step. Along the way, you can see cliff carvings, ancient trees, and rolling clouds, making you feel like you are in a fairyland.
