The Confucius Six Arts Pavilion is located on the west side of the Kong Miao (Confucius Temple) in Qufu, recreating Confucius’ “Six Arts” education system through immersive interactive experiences, combining cultural inheritance with fun and amusement. The pavilion is comprised of six themed zones – “Ritual & Music,” “Archery & Equestrianism,” “Script & Numeracy” – creating immersive spaces where visitors can personally practice calligraphy by copying oracle bone inscriptions, experience archery in an archery field, and learn horse riding techniques in an equestrian field, and through digital devices, recreate the ritual ceremonies of the “Zhou Li” (Ritual Classic), bringing the ancient system of rituals to life.
