Located north of Qufu City, this thousand-year-old temple was built to commemorate Zhou Gong, the founder of Western Zhou. The temple is situated on a hillside beside water, with ancient cypresses that are green and lush, and the eaves and brackets exude the solemn and elegant atmosphere of ritual architecture. The main hall houses a bronze statue of Zhou Gong with a solemn expression, holding a jade scepter, re-enacting the virtuous style of “establishing rituals and making music,” and engraved on the stone steps in front of the hall are the words “Zhou Li,” which are powerful and thought-provoking.
