Yao Li Ancient Town is hidden in the deep mists of the northeast of Jingdezhen, a rare Ming and Qing ancient village fossil in Jiangnan. Blue stone paved roads wind through the Ma Tou Qiang group, Hui style architecture’s carved doors and windows and mottled brick walls tell of four hundred years of time. The village layout is complete, with 28 existing Ming and Qing buildings, like a solidified ink scroll. The Yao River flows through the town, with ancient camphor trees on both sides, ancient bridges fly rainbow, fishermen’s evening songs and water vapor intertwined, as if traveling to Tao Yuanming’s Peach Blossom Source.
