Qingyuan Ge stands in Baishan, a unique enemy tower relic within the Ming Dynasty’s Great Wall defense system. The remaining rammed earth walls and brick arrow slits tell of the desolate years of guarding the border. Climbing to the top, you can fully view the vast, verdant Baishan grassland, and the sound of pastoral songs seems to hear the echoes of soldiers’ horns and horses’ hooves in the valley.
