Zhujia Huayuan is located in Jianwei County, Yunnan Province, it is the most complete traditional minority residence group preserved in the Diannan region, and is known as a “Treasure of Diannan Minority Residences”. The core architectural group is built on the mountain and takes advantage of the terrain, adopting a traditional “Three Courtyards and One Mirror Wall” layout, with three main courtyards connected by corridors, supplemented by a mirror wall to form a closed space, which not only shows the family’s hierarchy but also reflects the Feng Shui layout. The architectural group is adorned with carved beams and columns, brick carvings, and stone carvings, reaching the peak of craftsmanship. The “Fisherman and Scholar” relief scene on the gate is lifelike, and the inscription “Longevity and Happiness” hidden in the gaps of the mirror wall shows the ingenuity of the craftsmen.
