Olympic Park is an ecological pearl extending the central axis of Beijing City, designed with the concept of “water veins weaving, lush greenery,” perfectly integrating modern architecture with natural landscapes. The core area of the park gathers the two major Olympic legacies, “Nest” and “Water Cube,” the former interpreting traditional aesthetics with a “Chinese Knot” shape woven from steel structure, and the latter depicting the agile posture of water droplets through ETFE membrane structure. The two buildings echo with “Cloud and Dragon” patterns, forming cultural totems on the skyline.
