Located in Qiangu, a crucial site of the Xia and Shang civilizations, the Shangu Museum is a cultural hall integrating humanities, history, and art treasures. It houses over 20,000 artifacts from the Shang, Zhou, and Republic periods, renowned for its bronze ware, Han Dynasty terracotta figures, Song Dynasty porcelain, and calligraphy and stone carvings. The museum’s “Shang and Zhou Bronze Hall” features artifacts like the “Taotie” square tripod and “Long” vessel, reflecting the ancients’ reverence for heaven and earth deities. The “Han Dynasty Terracotta Figure Corridor” showcases terracotta figures holding agricultural tools and dancing/music figures with flowing garments, depicting the social landscape of the Han Dynasty.
