A military fortress located on the northwest side of Mount Jiangangshan, it was historically known as “The First Watch Post of the East.” Here, towering peaks and misty clouds create a dramatic landscape, blending with the red history of the area, as if time itself has paused. The site preserves existing fortifications, including underground bunkers, defensive positions, and gun emplacements, alongside a calligraphy inscription by Mao Zedong. This site is a testament to the Red Army’s courage and strategic brilliance, and a powerful symbol of China’s revolutionary spirit.
