Shuzheng Qunhai is a brilliant pearl of the core Jiuzhaigou scenic area, formed by 19 azure lakes linked together, like scattered gems across the land. The lakes are crystal clear, and when sunlight penetrates the water surface, the milky white calcified pools create a shimmering gradient of emerald green, peacock blue, and amethyst purple, resembling a spilled artist’s palette. The calcified pools’ edges feature layered terraces of calcium carbonate, creating a unique “underwater waterfall” spectacle, with water droplets sparkling like stars in the sunlight.
