Émèishān, located in Leshān, Sichuan, is famed as “the most beautiful mountain under heaven.” It’s one of the Four Great Buddhist Mountains, combining natural wonders with cultural attractions. Its key features are the “Three Absolutes and Three Wonders” – Yunhai like waves, Buddhist Light illusions, and Sacred Lamp illumination, with Yunhai being particularly stunning, creating a dreamlike atmosphere when the morning sun rises; Buddhist Light requires spiritual insight, with golden Buddha shadows appearing within the light; Sacred Lamp adds mystery, with points of light appearing at night, resembling a falling river of stars. Hikers can traverse the Nine Ranks Ancient Trail, passing through bamboo forests, waterfalls, and springs, and at the summit of the Golden Summit, they can overlook the rolling clouds, providing a refreshing experience.
