The Leshan Giant Buddha, a World Heritage Site, is carved into the cliffs at the confluence of the Minjiang, Dawu, and Qingyi Rivers. Standing at 71 meters tall, it is a “remarkable masterpiece of spiritual beauty.” The temple complex, including Lingyun Temple and Jiukou Plank Road, offers stunning views and a glimpse into Buddhist art. The “Lingquan” spring at the Buddha’s feet is said to be a sacred gift from the Buddha.
