Mengshan Yunwu Tea Ecological Garden is located in the heart of Mengshan, near LinYi, with a vast tea garden built into the mountains, perpetually enveloped in mist, resembling a fairyland. At an altitude of 500 to 800 meters, with a significant daily temperature difference, tea trees absorb the essence of heaven and earth in the mist, nurturing unique high-mountain cloud mist tea, known for its delicate fragrance and smooth taste. Visitors can hand-pick new leaves, experience traditional brewing techniques, and enjoy the poetic moments of tea fragrance and mountain breezes. The core scenic area includes the Tea Culture Museum, the Ecological Tea Garden Trail, the Cloud Viewing Platform, and the Tea Art Performance Area. The Tea Culture Museum houses a collection of tea sets and tea classics from across the ages, recreating the Song Dynasty tea-making technique; the Ecological Trail winds through the tea ridges, with bamboo-covered tea pavilions and babbling streams along the way; the Cloud Viewing Platform is the best location to overlook the vast tea garden, appearing like a fairyland when shrouded in morning mist, providing a refreshing experience. The Tea Art Performance Area regularly hosts tea harvesting, brewing, and tea tasting experiences, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in tea culture. Mengshan has been a key point on the Tea-Horse Road since ancient times, with a long history of tea culture. The Tang Dynasty Tea Sage Lu Yu visited this place and praised it as “cloud-steamed mist, tea fragrance like orchid.” Song Dynasty writer Su Shi also left the poem “Mengshan Yunwu Tea, tastes like orchid and bamboo” here. The park also integrates the Lu Nan folk culture, and the “Twenty-Four Solar Terms Tea Harvesting Song” passed down by tea farmers has been listed as an Intangible Cultural Heritage, giving the tea garden a deep humanistic foundation. Here, every whiff of tea fragrance carries the gifts of the mountains and the sedimentation of time.
