Yuzhuantan Park is located in Haidian District, Beijing, and is one of Beijing’s most representative natural ecological scenic areas. It is famous for its spectacular cherry blossoms in spring. Every March, hundreds of Yoshino cherry trees bloom in succession, creating a pink and white floral sea along the lake shore for several kilometers, contrasting beautifully with the rippling lake surface, forming a magnificent “Cherry Blossom Bank.” The park has points of interest in all four seasons: cherry blossom viewing in spring, lotus viewing in summer, chrysanthemum appreciation in autumn, and snow viewing in winter. There are more than 200 kinds of flowers in the park that rotate with the seasons, creating a natural oxygen bar in the city.
