Fuyang City Library, built in 1956, witnessed the continuity of Fuyang's cultural lineage. Formerly Fuyang Municipal Library, it was rebuilt and relocated in 1985, becoming the largest and with the most books in the Wannan region. The collection includes local chronicles, ancient classics, and modern literature, with a particular focus on the Qing Dynasty’s “Fuyang County Chronicle” and the local literature of the Republic of China period.
