Guangwu Square is centered around the legend of Emperor Guangwu Liu from the Three Kingdoms period, seamlessly blending historical legend with modern art, it is a brilliant pearl of humanistic landscape in Fuyang. The square’s soul lies in its magnificent sculpture group, eight giant Han Dynasty-style statues are arranged along an axis, recreating Liu Shu’s uprising, establishment of capital, and battles, with Liu Shu’s statue of riding a horse and whipping vividly alive, the metallic sheen on his armor reflects the thousand-year-old flames under the sunlight.
