Qing Feng Lou
Located in Xiangdu District, Xingtai City, Qing Feng Lou is one of the best-preserved ancient buildings from the Ming Dynasty. It is renowned for its exquisite flying roof and bracket system, and its towering height. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Xingtai City, with its city walls, moat, and surrounding mountains. Inside, a Ming Dynasty artifact exhibition hall displays ancient Xingtai city defense maps, ancient weapons, and local chronicles. The most eye-catching are the “Qing Feng Eight Scenery” stone carvings, which record the poetic legends of eight scenic spots in Xingtai. The building’s symmetrical layout reflects the principles of Feng Shui, and the four corners of the base are guarded by lifelike stone beast statues, showcasing the Ming Dynasty craftsmen's profound understanding of architectural aesthetics and philosophy.
