Changjiang Park is nestled beside the Gan River, like a flowing ink scroll. The clear waters of Changjiang River meanders through the park, with lush greenery on both sides, white egrets dance in the ecological wetlands, lotus flowers reflect the sun, creating a dynamic ecological painting. Inside the park, the winding wooden boardwalk connects nature and culture. Exercisers step on dew drops, children chase the shimmering reflections on the river, and at dusk, the viewing platforms light up one by one, dyeing the river into flowing gold. The core scenic area “Three Rivers Mouth Ecological Wetland” is a natural theater, white herons and black herons reside in the reeds, ducks play in the river islet, spring blooms peach and plum, autumn views lotus, the riverside viewing platform with the theme of “Gan Nan Impression” twelve sculptures tell the thousand-year cultural heritage of Ganzhou, the scene of “Wen Tian Xiang [Southern Song Anti-Yuan General] imprisoned in Ganzhou” is particularly shocking, the cyan stone sculpture engraved with “Life is inevitable since ancient times” powerful poetry. The park also has a circular fitness walking path, a children’s playground and a cultural corridor. This city green lung carries the cultural memory of Ganzhou’s “First City in Jiangnan”. It has the dynamic of Changjiang River and condenses the weight of Gan Nan Hakka culture. The stone couplets on the riverside “Changjiang Night Docking” four characters, seem to be telling the legend of the river that has not ceased for a thousand years, fusing natural scenery and human spirit into a unique urban mark.
