The Ba Da Shan Ren Memorial Hall is located in Chang Gong District, Ganzhou, and is a cultural attraction built to commemorate Zhu Da, a prominent painter of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. The hall is designed with a traditional garden layout, reflecting Zhu Da’s solitary lifestyle and artistic vision. It contains over 120 of his ink paintings, characterized by bold brushstrokes and a focus on “loneliness” and “coldness,” pushing the boundaries of Chinese ink painting.
