Liánchí Shūyuàn
Lianchi Shuyuan, established in the 40th year of the Qing Emperor Kangxi, is a renowned academy from the Qing Dynasty. The existing architectural complex primarily features Ming and Qing styles, with a thick atmosphere of literary fragrance. The central axis of the academy is lined with Lingxingmen, Panzhi, and Lecture Halls, with "Lianchi" named after the tranquil lotus pond in front of the gate, and three stone bridges connecting the academy's literary lineage like a long corridor. The Library contains fragments of the “Si Ku Quan Shu” (Complete Collection of the Four Treasuries), and the echoes of scholars’ voices resonate within the intricately carved halls.
