Guan Shan Lake Park
Guan Shan Lake Park is located in the Nanning District of Guiyang City, it is a rare natural ecological painting in the city. The park’s core is the Chengzhong Lake, with the lake’s surface shimmering and the surrounding greenways winding like jade belts, connecting the lake island and surrounding mountains into a flowing landscape scroll. The lake island is lush with greenery, with flowers blooming in all seasons, it is an ideal place for bird watching, fishing and boating, in the morning mist boating can encounter white herons skimming the waves, and in the evening fishing can hear the whispers of mountain springs and evening winds. The surrounding greenways are paved with permeable ecological bricks, with wetland gardens, viewing platforms and cultural corridors distributed along the way, walking along the way, you can feel the coolness of the breeze and also enjoy the fusion of the city skyline and the surrounding mountains. The park’s “Guan Shan” and “Wang Hu” two themed areas are particularly eye-catching. The Guan Shan area is built into the mountains, with winding stone steps, climbing can overlook the lake and mountain scenery, the mountain vegetation coverage rate is over 90%, it is a natural secret realm for urban people to relax. The Wang Hu area is mainly wetland ecology, black water chickens and white herons inhabit the reeds, tourists can observe the natural ecology along the wooden boardwalk. In addition, the park also preserves the Ming Dynasty ancient water conservancy project ruins, showcasing the wisdom of ancient people “bringing water into the city”, and is in harmony with modern landscapes.
