Hanjiang Park, nestled alongside the meandering Han River, is a natural scroll of azure waves and greenery within Yangyang City. The ecological corridor winds like a jade belt, connecting reed marshes, bird-watching trails, and fitness paths. In the morning mist, white egrets glide across the water, and in the evening twilight, light and shadow fragment on the river surface into stardust. Each season presents a different scene. The river path features an ecological science corridor, allowing you to witness the dynamic scenes of river dolphins leaping and birds nesting. The "Hanjiang Feast" light show is particularly stunning, recreating the magnificent scene of ancient Yangyang’s “Han River’s Waves Connect the Sky of Chu” in a dazzling display of light and color. The core area, “Luomen Temple Ruins,” features ancient paths paved with blue bricks extending to the Han River’s edge, where Tang Dynasty poet Meng Haoran once secluded himself to teach and study. His poem “Luomen Moon Shines on Smoke Trees” echoes here. The island in the river center preserves the ruins of Ming Dynasty city walls, with mottled stone walls telling the story of Yangyang as a land constantly contested by successive armies. During the Dragon Boat Festival, the river surface appears with the spectacular scene of “Dragon Boat Racing,” with the sound of oars and shouts awakening the river gulls, weaving together history and reality into flowing poems. This place is not only a habitat for nature, but also a vibrant testament to Yangyang’s millennium-old cultural heritage and modern ecological concepts.
