Hengshan Yunwu Temple is hidden among the Seven Twenty-Four Peaks of Nanyue, founded in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, after a thousand years of wind and rain, it still retains the ancient temple style of bamboo, tile, and wooden structures. Its biggest highlight is the spectacle of “Yunhai Yong Temple” – when the morning mist first opens or the evening rain first subsides, clouds surge like tidal waves, engulfing the soaring eaves and mottled red walls, only the sound of the bell penetrates the clouds, resonating with the mountain wind. The existing Song Dynasty ancient bell “Huan Yu Zhong” is in the temple, the bell body is engraved with the entire text of the “Huayan Sutra,” and every new moon, the bell sound can be heard ten miles away to other mountain temples.
