Located in the core area of Jiangbei Water City, the museum focuses on the theme of “Grand Canal Civilization and Humanistic Spirit,” connecting the eight hundred years of Liucheng’s history through five thematic exhibition halls. Within the collection of over 3000 artifacts, the Ming Dynasty bronze sheng (gong) and the Song Dynasty Grand Canal shipping scroll are particularly noteworthy, presenting a panoramic view of the prosperity of the Grand Canal’s strategic waterway.
