Yaizhou Gucheng, located in Tianya District of Sanya City, is the most complete group of Ming and Qing ancient buildings existing on Hainan Island. Built during the Song Dynasty, it has stood for a thousand years, weathering countless storms. Within the ancient city’s brick and tile lanes, weathered walls and carved doorways reflect the changes in Hainan’s history.
